The range of species most often used back in the day include white oak, red oak, hickory, ash, sycamore, pine, beachwood, poplar, chestnut, and sometimes a little maple. In these Industrial floors, the majority is oak, but a mixed of species can be found.

Our Industrial Oak & Mixed Species Flooring boasts a mix of American oak along with other species, resulting in a stunning color palette, from tans and light browns to medium and dark browns. Character markings like knot holes, saw marks, nail holes, and signs of wear and tear add authenticity and uniqueness.

The reclamation project initiated in 2020 aims to repurpose factory and warehouse oak and mixed species planks, representing a monumental effort. By doing so, we estimate saving 1,200 to 1,500 acres of deforestation and contributing significantly to environmental conservation.
