5. Product Information
A. Accuracy of Descriptions
We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, photographs, and specifications provided on this Site are as accurate and up to date as reasonably possible. However, due to the nature of reclaimed wood, natural variations in color, grain, knots, texture, and other features are to be expected. These variations are not considered defects but part of the material’s unique character.
While we make every reasonable effort to display products accurately, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, dimensions, or other content are error-free, complete, or current. In the event of a material error, we reserve the right to correct it and revise your order accordingly.
This disclaimer is consistent with the Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on product representation under the FTC Guides Against Deceptive Pricing (16 C.F.R. Part 233) and the general prohibition on unfair or deceptive practices under 15 U.S.C. § 45.
B. Availability & Pricing
All products and services listed on the Site are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without prior notice. Inclusion of a product on our Site does not guarantee it is in stock or available at the time of your order.
Prices are also subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to adjust prices due to changes in market conditions, supplier pricing, or typographical errors. Such pricing changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted and confirmed, unless otherwise required by law.
We are not responsible for errors in pricing, promotions, or inventory data. We also reserve the right to limit quantities and to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at an incorrect price or availability status.
6. Ordering, Payment, and Shipping
A. Ordering Process
To place an order through our website, follow the on-screen prompts to add items to your cart, review your selection, and proceed to checkout. Once your order is submitted, you will receive an automated email acknowledging receipt. This acknowledgment does not constitute formal acceptance of your order.
Your order becomes binding only upon our acceptance, which will be confirmed via a follow-up order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to: product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
B. Payment Terms
We accept the following methods of payment: credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), PayPal, and other options as displayed at checkout. You authorize us to charge the payment method provided at the time of your order submission.
All orders must be paid in full before they are processed and shipped. We reserve the right to cancel orders where payment is declined or not received.
C. Taxes
You are responsible for paying any applicable sales, use, VAT (Value Added Tax), or other government-imposed taxes based on the shipping destination and applicable law. U.S. sales tax is calculated based on the shipping address and current state or local tax rates, including for Kentucky where we are registered.
If you are an international buyer, you are responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, and clearance fees levied by your local customs authority.
D. Shipping
We ship orders using reputable carriers such as FedEx, UPS, USPS, or freight delivery services as appropriate to the product size and destination. Delivery timelines provided at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Title to goods and risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery of the order to the shipping carrier, in accordance with UCC § 2-509 (Uniform Commercial Code, Risk of Loss). We are not liable for delays, damage, or loss incurred during transit.
We recommend that you inspect all shipments immediately upon arrival and contact us promptly if there are any issues.
7. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not completely happy with your order, you may request a return or exchange within 14 calendar days of the delivery date, subject to the conditions outlined below.
A. Eligibility
- Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging.
- Final sale items and custom-cut or reclaimed wood products are non-refundable unless damaged in transit or materially defective.
- We may charge a 15% restocking fee on eligible returned items.
B. Non-Returnable Items
Due to the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of reclaimed wood, custom orders and modified products cannot be returned or exchanged. This policy complies with U.S. Uniform Commercial Code §2-601, which allows sellers to limit return rights in custom goods contracts.
C. How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return or exchange, please email [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. We will provide further instructions, including a return authorization and shipping address.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or incorrect. Refunds, minus restocking and any applicable fees, will be processed within 7–10 business days after we receive the returned item.
